Poul-Erik is a social entrepreneur, author and lecturer on the transition from work life to a new career in the third age. His workshop model ‘Senior Force’ created to help empower seniors as they approach retirement was recognised by the European Commission for Social Entrepreneurship in 2012.
He is founder of the company www.en3karriere.dk ( ‘a career in the third age’) – partly inspired by Marc Freedman and the Encore Movement in US.Poul-Erik has an M.A. in Literature and a Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of Aarhus, Denmark.
Before beginning his research eight years ago and then writing and lecturing on the complex transition from work life, he was assistant professor at the University of Aarhus and project manager and senior consultant at the Municipality of Aarhus.

Judith Wardell: On how organisations can support people in making life choices that maximise their contribution and engagement.

Judith is co-founder of Kingswood Age Confident; a consultancy and training business that enables organisations to become capable and confident in both managing an ageing workforce and engaging older consumers. Kingswood challenges clients to look at age from a fresh perspective and adapt workplaces to meet the needs of a new generation of older workers.

 

 

 

 


RedStart:Demonstrate their innovative approach to provide young people with the skills they need to successfully and sustainably manage their financial futures.

RedSTART is a financial education initiative for young people with the goal of putting people in control of their finances, giving them the skills they need to successfully and sustainably manage their financial futures from a young age.

RedSTART works with young people aged between 10 and 18 from a wide variety of schools and locations across the UK. RedSTART was created by three employees from Redington, an investment consulting firm and we now count some of the world’s largest financial firms as RedSTART partners.
